Tom Cruise To Appear On 'So You Think You Can Dance'?

Show's judge's say they hope Tom Cruise joins their panel.

Ever since Katie Holmes' big breakout performance on So You Think You Can Dance? last year, Tom Cruise has been known as a big fan of the show. Apparently he followed Katie around taking video backstage -- but now he's the one who may be in front of the camera.

So what if his moves are limited to shaking cocktails and Risky Business-esque dancing in tighty-whities? The judges on the show think Tom Cruise has the chops. New judge Adam Shankman says, "I happen to love Tom, and Tom loves dancing, so it would be great."

Host Cat Deeley agrees, although she doesn't believe Katie Holmes will dance on the show again. Deeley's quoted saying that "once was probably enough." She said it must have been a challenge for Katie to break out of her box and dance for the crowd, but Deeley has loads of respect for Mrs. Cruise because of it.
