TomKat and Connor Cruise: Chillin’ on Capitol Hill

They’ve been enjoying all the festivities and American patriotism in Washington DC during the Memorial Day Weekend, and yesterday (May 24) Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Connor Cruise were spotted on Capitol Hill.

The “Days of Thunder” stud looked hunky in a beige suit with a grey button-up shirt and black shoes while his “Mad Money” wife donned a conservative black dress with black heels.

And Katie has an extra special reason for being in Washington DC this weekend as she played Elizabeth Pequeno, the sister of an injured Iraq war veteran, at the National Memorial Day Concert.

Holmes told press, “It’s important to tell these stories and honor the sacrifice and service of these men and women. It’s a real gift to be able to portray an American of such strength.”
