Tyra's Bazaar Move

Who does Tyra think she is? No, really.

Tyra Banks doesn't just support Michelle Obama; it would seem she wants to be her. That's the impression we're getting based off of her recent Bazaar photo shoot. In the September '08 issue, Tyra is styled to look like Mrs. Obama, posing with a Barack look-alike. There are photos of "Michelle" and "Barack" in the Oval Office, exiting the white house dressed in black tie, and even in bed together reading the paper in matching Harvard sweatshirts. Too much?

The top model and talk show host has been very vocal about her endorsement of the presidential hopeful, but does this show of support seem in bad taste? On the other hand, political observers regularly point out that this election has inspired all-kinds of participation from both citizens (YouTube, bloggers, grassroots organizers) and celebrities (Halle Berry is regularly photographed wearing different "Obama" T-shirts).
