Ugly Betty's Ana Ortiz Welcomes Baby Girl

Ugly Betty star Ana Ortiz has given birth to a girl, it was reported in People. The baby, Paloma Louise, is the first for Ortiz and rock guitarist husband Noah Lebenzon.

Ortiz's representative said: "She is elated and completely glowing. She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mom. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful." Ortiz, 38, had said she was "anxiously awaiting" for the delivery. "My husband's phone number is on speed dial, my deep yoga breaths have been practised and my bags are all packed except for the toothbrushes, so I'm all set. I'm ready to have the baby!" Ortiz cited some of her parenting goals. "I hope to be a patient mother because I'm not a patient person ....So I'm hoping to be a patient one, and it will be the most rewarding test ever." Fourteen-year-old Mark Indelicato, who plays her son on Ugly Betty, said: "She will be an amazing mom. Ana has the biggest heart and she's so loving. "She's also laid back and chill but at the same time she's forceful and knows how to discipline someone if she has to. "It's the perfect combination in being a great mom. She's done it with me a bunch of times when I got out of line. She's definitely my second mom."
