Ungaro Admits Lindsay Lohan Was a Fashion Disaster
Time to fire Lindsay Lohan from fashion?
Though we all knew that Lindsay Lohan's debut fashion show with fashion house Ungaro was a big disaster, we kind of thought the house was just happy for a bit of publicity. Little did we know, the founder of the house is actually quite upset by Lindsay's failure!
The founder of the house, Emanuel Ungaro, actually said, "Lindsay Lohan's collaboration was a disaster... I am furious but I can't do anything about it." Ungaro no longer works for the house he founded and he's clearly not happy with the direction in which it's going.
We had no idea he would be so mad. Obviously Lindsay's disaster wasn't going to do anything for Ungaro's reputation, but we figured they just wanted to get on peoples' radars. After all, what do you expect when you hire Lindsay Lohan? And maybe that was their purpose, but that doesn't mean Ungaro thought it was a good idea.
Ungaro says this disaster is something that often happens when the founder leaves a house. He says, "That happens to a lot of designers. We were the creators and patrons, responsible for the creation and destiny of our houses. But when we gave up our houses, we gave up our souls."
.
We wonder if the fashion house will take into account what Emanuel Ungaro is saying and get rid of Lindsay as soon as possible. It must be awful to work so hard for something your whole life and then watch it fall apart when you can't do anything about it. We think Ungaro would be smart to to tell Lindsay Lohan goodbye. We really don't see her shaping up any time soon.
