Yes, it's true. Vera Wang is collaborating with David's Bridal to bring you dresses from the well-known designer that are super affordable! While a typical Vera Wang wedding gown generally costs between $4,000 and $25,000; the Vera Wang dresses at David's Bridal will run from $600 to $1,500

According to the president and chief executive of David's Bridal, "Vera is the name in bridal. I mean, how many stars do you have, or famous people, who want Vera Wang to design their wedding dress? You look at our customer who's mainstream America, and how many of these woman would say, ‘Geez, I'd do anything to have a Vera Wang gown?'... That's the whole premise with Vera: She is the queen. For us, it's going to further validate the value of what we give our consumer."

This collaboration is likely to help boost the reputation of David's Bridal, which isn't known for offering the most glamorous experience for wedding dress shopping. Vera Wang has confirmed that she's been in talks with David's Bridal for a long time. The collection of 20 dresses are set to be available in 2011 and will come in sizes 0-30.
