Versace is Launching a Kids' Line
Cutest ever?
Let's face it: I'll never be able to afford to dress my kids in Versace. And would I really want to? I mean, don't kids get dirty easily and grow out of clothing quickly? But still, I can't help feeling like the upcoming Versace children's line is going to be absolutely adorable!

Is there any designer not launching a kids' collection these days? I just finished obsessing over the fact that Lanvin is launching a childrens' line when I heard Versace will soon have one, too. Smart of these designers who know parents who have the money are willing to dish it out to keep their kids looking cute. This new line will be called Young Versace and from the sketches I've seen, it's going to be amazing.
According to Gian Giacomo Ferraris to WWD.com, "This is a high-end, glamorous and colorful collection in line with the brand's essence, with a touch of rock 'n' roll." A touch of rock 'n' roll? I love it already. But really? We don't have any price points just yet, but I'm pretty certain these items of clothing won't be coming cheap.
The collection, set to launch for Spring/Summer of 2012 is for boys and girls aged 0-12. If you had the money, would you be purchasing Versace for your children? I don't think I could bring myself to do it... Unless I had a whole line of children the clothing could be handed down to. But something tells me that kids who wear Versace aren't wearing hand me downs.

With Lanvin, Versace, and all these other cute kids' lines, I better step up my own fashion game! Kids everywhere will be dressing better than I ever have. Sigh.
