Victoria "Posh" Beckham and her famous soccer-playing husband are said to be at loggerheads over whether to stay in the US. Posh's career is finally starting to take off, while David's has stagnated following long stints away from his contracted team, LA Galaxy.

He is said to be keen to play more football in Europe. A source says: "It’s a very tense situation. It’s in David’s nature to please Victoria but he won’t be happy if he stays in the States. He’s miserable there and wants to come home and play for England." After an initial stalling, Posh's US career appears to be taking on wings. She landed a guest judge spot on American Idol along with a string of famous songstresses filling the void left by Paul Abdul. She has also garnered a guest co-host spot on The View, and her clothing line is said to be taking off. The source continued: "She wants to prove she can be as much of a star [in the US] as back home. David feels he has compromised enough but she always gets what she wants." But Posh's spokesman said: "There is no disagreement. David is committed to LA Galaxy while being vocal about his desire to keep his involvement with the England team."
