Victoria Beckham is Big on Bags

We love purses. Really, we do. And we're all for the big bag trend. But is Victoria Beckham taking things a little bit too far?

Pictures were recently snapped of Victoria Beckham walking through the Heathrow Airport carrying her brand new Birkin and we realized that Victoria is taking the big handbag trend to a whole new level. Her Birkin is absolutely gigantic. I wouldn't be surprised if she had her whole family hidden in there. Or at least her kids; David might be a bit too buff to fit. But really, the bag is so big, it just looks silly.

And it's not like Victoria doesn't have enough purses to choose from. She's big on big bags, but she's also just big into bags in general. Victoria's Hermes Birkin bag collection is said to be worth 1.5 million pounds, which equals more than 2 million dollars. She owns about 100 of the classic design, which cost $9,000-$10,000 a piece.

Allegedly, Victoria sees her handbag collection as an investment in these hard economic times, but we kind of think investing your money in some sort of retirement fund might be more lucrative. Victoria might end up without any money to carry in her purses. Well, we doubt that will ever happen, but if her bags keep getting bigger, who knows!
