Coldplay Gets Outshined By Burritos

This year's most-talked-about Grammy performance didn't even happen at the Grammy's. A stop-motion commerical from burrito-maker Chipotle, with country legend Willie Nelson covering Coldplay's "The Scientist," is being hailed as a stand-out from Sunday's show.

Airing after a lengthy (and some say poor) performance by Coldplay, the Chipotle commercial features stop-motion clay animation of farmers who find themselves sucked into the massive farming industry.

Then one disillusioned farmer decides to "go back to the start," and from there we see a rebirth of the food industry, spearheaded by Chipotle.

While the animation and story keep viewers rapt, it's Nelson's performance of the Coldplay classic that has everyone talking the morning after. Hearing the country music icon belt out the heartfelt and redemptive lyrics is a must (it reminded me of Johnny Cash's cover of NIN's "Hurt").
