Watch: Green Day Singer Billie Joe Armstrong Said He Couldn't Wait For Steve Jobs To Die [VIDEO]
Armstrong: "Technology Is Ruining Everything"
Billie Joe Armstrong is not exactly mourning Steve Jobs' death. The lead singer for Green Day can be seen in a video from a concert about a year ago screaming that he just couldn't wait for the former Apple CEO to die of cancer.

Armstrong might have gotten a little carried away during a performance in Lima, Peru, last year when he began screaming out obscenities and foul wishes against Jobs, Barack Obama and ... technology?
In a video posted on YouTube (which you can check out below), the singer yells repeatedly that "Technology is ruining everything!" while adding that he "can't wait for Steve Jobs to die of cancer" and that "Barack Obama can go to hell too."
Of course, now that Jobs HAS died of cancer, Armstrong is probably feeling like quite a turd. It's not very polite to wish death on someone, even in "punk" rock.

Either way, Billie-boy has a right to think consumerism and technology are ruining everyone's lives ... even if he screams it through a state-of-the-art wireless microphone and stereo system, to fans watching through live-video from all over the world, at a stadium they flew to in a matter of hours, in which they probably listened to music on their iPods and checked emails on their iPhones.
Check out Armstrong putting his foot in his mouth in the video below.
