Where Kate Hudson finds the time to film these things, we don't know. She's been so busy following A-Rod and his Yankees parade that we'd almost forgotten why we loved her in the first place. But in her new flick with Fergie, Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz, we'll see Hudson in a hot new light -- and you won't believe her voice.

Nine is slated to release on Christmas Day, and it's a musical that spans the decades with 1960s-inspired go-go as well as dramatic avant garde effect. It was directed by Chicago veteran Rob Marshall, and according to the clips, he glams it up even more in Nine.

Looks like Kate Hudson steps it up too -- see her belt it in this fast-moving Material Girl-esque footage. Fellow Nine star Fergie has said that she loved appearing in this film because "it was taking me outside of myself." And, with the stripper scandal surrounding her husband Josh Duhamel, we can see why that would be appealing...
