Watch Old School Lady GaGa Clip
Hard to believe this was Lady GaGa just three years ago.
Just a couple years before Lady GaGa was appearing in videos with Beyonce and designing her own headphones, she was playing gigs at New York City indie venues...and still sporting her Italian black hair.
Apart from the voice, you'll barely recognize GaGa -- whose real name is Stefani Germanotta. She studied at NYU's Tisch School for the Arts and has said she did whatever it takes to get in front of agents and talent scouts. Her eccentric moves and her command of the crowd apparently worked, but when you see her cover of Led Zeppelin's Dy'er Mak'er on this video, you'll only recognize parts of her style. Today she is a majorly amped-up version of this 2006 indie princess.
So, we love her, but in plain words: this video happened before GaGa went cuckoo!
