Want to get in the mood? Move somewhere hot and wet. That's the word from a new study by Trojan Condoms, which finds most Americans believe a muggy day is the best weather to do the dirty in.

The study found that 83% of Americans think rain is the best weather condition for having sex, and that the cities of Miami and Atlanta (which have hotter climates) have the highest reports of sexual activity, at 102 times per year and 88 times per year, respectively.
Colder cities, like Minneapolis (64 times per year) and Seattle (75 times per year) had the lowest rates of reported sexual activity.
It can also get too hot for sex. Though one in three people say sex is better when it's hot outside, 35% reported turning someone down because the heat was too much.

Of course, 66% of Americans say they'll have sex no matter what temperature it is.
Conducted by the makers of Trojan Brand Condoms, the study also found that seven in 10 people say they've had sex during some form of extreme weather, like a hurricane, tornado or thunderstorm.
As for having sex outdoors in the rain, Houston (47%) and Denver (43%) had the most people who claimed to have done it, while Seattle (26%), where it's always raining, was at the bottom of the list.
