Whole Foods Sells Spider-Flavored Bananas
Forbidden fruit of the highest order.
Every part of the world has at least one thing you should never, ever do. For example, when you go to Mexico, don't drink the water. And when you go to Canada, don't try to dance. Well now we can add one more travel no-no to the list. If you ever go to Tulsa, Oklahoma, don't eat the bananas. They're full of deadly spiders.
Workers at a Whole Foods store in Tulsa found one of the world's deadliest spiders, the Brazilian Wandering Spider, crawling around a batch of bananas in the produce section. Luckily, an employee managed to catch the killer before it could destroy America.
If you've never heard of the Brazilian Wandering Spider, that's because anyone who has seen it died before they could tell anyone else about it. Apparently it kills more people than any other, and its bite can put you down, permanently, in 25 minutes flat.
If I was Mr. Whole Foods, I would turn this loss into a profit. So when banana-shoppers get bit and have only 20 minutes to live, they'll be forced to buy the anti-venom while in the checkout line. It gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "impulse buy."
