Will 'Friends' Be Made Into a Movie?

We miss our Friends

We've been hearing such mixed rumors, we really don't know what to believe. But we so want to believe it will be happening. We can't even imagine how crazy the world will go to see their favorite friends on the big screen!

Seriously, how excited will you be? It's been years since we've seen Rachel, Monica, Joey, Chandler, Ross, Phoebe, and all the rest together. Everyone loves a good reunion (read: Sex and the City movies, Seinfeld reunion on Curb Your Enthusiasm, etc.) and a Friends reunion would be the biggest news since, well, since they ended the show.

We're already positive this movie would be a smash hit at the box office, but we wonder if it will actually happen. There are several sources saying it's on, but we're not sure how reliable those sources are. For instance, the Daily Mail in UK says Warner Brothers "are prepared to pay a fortune to the stars." Well, they better be since we're sure the stars will be demanding a lot of money. Especially Jennifer Aniston who's career has probably taken off the most since the show. Though Courteney Cox is doing quite well with her new show, Cougar Town.

And remember Gunther? The worker at the Central Perk who waited on the crew all the time? James Michael Tyler, who played Gunther, said, "Friends: The Movie is definitely on. I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say that they are really keen." Then again, there's a difference between saying you'd be up for making a movie and actually having the movie be made.

We're keeping our fingers crossed and we'll definitely keep you posted. We want our Friends to come back!
