The Carrie Diaries

We recently found out there will most likely not be a Sex and the City 3 movie. But now we're hearing we could be getting some more of Carrie Bradshaw on the big screen. Carrie Bradshaw as a teenager! And you'll never guess who they want to play her!

The author of the books that inspired Sex and the City, Candace Bushnell, recently published a book called The Carrie Diaries. The book focuses on Carrie Bradshaw as a high school student... And now it's being said that talks have begun to bring the book to the big screen!

According to E! Online, "Studio execs aren't about to let go of the Carrie franchise anytime soon because the sequel has already made $90 million worldwide... People are still having fun with it. Of course they want the teen years." And that's something we'd definitely love to see. Though, of course, we're a bit sad over the thought that Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha aren't in the book because Carrie didn't meet them until after high school.

But you'll never guess whose name is popping up in talks about who will play young Carrie. It's Miley Cyrus. Who also happened to have a guest spot in the second Sex and the City movie. Allegedly Candace Bushnell thinks she's "so adorable," and Miley told BBC Radio, "I would totally do it. It would be so cool." But as E! points out, filming on this would have to get started immediately. After all, Miley will soon be turning 18, and she's already acting like she's 27!

Would you like to see the Sex and the City prequel on the big screen? Who do you want to see playing Carrie Bradshaw?

I will most definitely NOT be seeing this movie if Miley Cyrus will be playing Carrie. No way.
