Keep Robert Pattinson around a little bit longer?

We've been hearing reports that the fourth and final Twilight novel, Breaking Dawn, might be split up into two movies. We can see why Summit would want to milk the Twilight series for all it's worth, but do you think this is a good idea?

A lot of us are probably wondering what we're going to do when the Twilight movies are all concluded and watched. It's not like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are simply going to disappear, but Edward and Bella's story will be over. While we wish it could go on forever, we understand that's just not possible. But Summit might try to make Edward and Bella's story last just a little bit longer.

We've been hearing mixed reports for a long time now, but according to E!, Melissa Rosenberg just signed on to write the screenplay for Breaking Dawn and the idea of splitting the movie into two is still being tossed around. Apparently, execs over at Summit have been referring to Breaking Dawn as "the Breaking Dawn films" with that plural "s" on the end.

It's being speculated that Summit really wants to split the last book into two, but need to get Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and the rest of the gang to sign on for sure before they can confirm anything.

Do you think splitting Breaking Dawn into two movies is a good idea or would you rather watch it all as one?

Right now, we are excited about seeing photos from the Eclipse set!
