Nelson, 77, was busted at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint on the morning of November 26 when law enforcement officials found him with a felony amount of pot.
But for a man like Nelson, the idea of spending some time in jail doesn't have him worried. Willie "feels great," said the singer's harmonica player, Mickey Raphael, adding: "He lost six ounces."

For years Willie has advocated the legalization of marijuana, and now he wants to do something about it. The rock legend has started the Facebook page "Willie Nelson's Teapot Party" with the motto: "We lean a little bit to the left."
20,000 people are already following the group, including one particularly famous toker: Tommy Chong.
