Workers Fired for Peeing on Old Faithful
What, were they raised in a barn?
Yellowstone National Park is one of America's most iconic sites. Known for its beautiful rivers and lakes, gorgeous canyons and roaming buffalo, it has everything a sight-seer could want. Well, now it can add one more thing to that list: urine.
When officals installed live webcams of the park's most famous attraction, Old Faithful, they probably figured it would allow many more people to see the geyser from around the world. But what they got instead was two part-time workers relieving themselves on the landmark.
The men, who worked at a concession stand at a nearby inn, were fired, banned from the park for two years and fined $750.
Moral of the story? If you can't find the proper facilities and have to pee on something, try to make sure it's not one of the country's most cherished landmarks. People tend to be touchy about that sort of thing.
