He's a self-declared sex addict, she recently gave an interview about her decades of bisexual affairs, and they have several children and ex-spouses between them. But The X-Files stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny have saved the biggest surprise about their personal lives 'til now: they're hooking up with each other.

Or, if the celeb gossipers at Celeb Dirty Laundry are to be believed, the X-Filers have taken it a step further and are living together.

Anderson recently broke up with her boyfriend of six years, Mark Griffiths, who's also the father of her two youngest children. Celeb Dirty Laundry reports a source told the website that Anderson has since moved in with Duchovny in Los Angeles, along with her kids.

Duchovny, who now stars in the Showtime dramedy Californication, married actress Tea Leoni in 1997, but the couple has broken up several times amidst rumors of infidelity by both of them and his 2008 stint in sex rehab.

CDL reports a source claims Duchovny and Leoni divorced in 2009. The (ex) couple have two children together.

Back to the (alleged) new couple, Anderson and Duchovny worked together on The X-Files from 1993-2002, and then again on the 2008 movie, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, and though fans may have wished for a real-life coupling for the duo, it didn't happen.

Until now.

Based on the intel from their source, plus a recent interview Anderson gave in which she was sketchy about her relationship with Griffiths, CDL concludes, "perhaps the time was just right for (Anderson and Duchovny). It seems like they were always in other relationships while they worked on The X-Files together and now they're both free to make it a go."
