Give the Xbox This Year

Stumped on present ideas for the upcoming holidays? You're not alone. Every year, it seems almost inevitable that we're racing around, looking for something to gift at the last minute. Instead of the usual stuff--that t-shirt, seasonal item, or random toy--keep in mind that electronics are never poorly received. If you combine the "gadget factor" with family fun, you've got a winner. Say hello to the Xbox 360, your never-fail gift for the holidays that keeps everyone together straight through the winter months.

Xbox 360 has games for all ages that the family will love playing, which makes this present ideal. When it's wintry outside, bring your family bonding inside and gather around your new Xbox 360 for some family time, fun time, and even some learning time stirred in there for good measure.

If you're hesitant about purchasing a game for the holidays, don't forget that the Xbox 360 can be a practical gift. It can be set up in the family room and used to stream movies and TV shows when it's not hooked up for gaming, which can even benefit non-gamers in the family. If you're like me, you'll find yourself ditching the remote and using the controller exclusively when you're watching movies, and it will quickly become an essential part of your den or living space.

Start shopping for games now, because Xbox offers a whopping 800+ options for your enjoyment. If you pick up the Holiday Bundle from Xbox, you'll even get two bonus games along with it: Pure and Lego Batman. When you pick up additional games, go for top-rated ones like Tekken 6 for teens, Halo 3: ODST for older teens and adults, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, LEGO Rock Band, and Mini Ninjas for family-friendly fun. ESRB Rating: EVERYONE to MATURE.

If you catch yourself craving some Xbox 360 when you're hanging with your family this holiday season, don't say we didn't warn you.

Get 2 Bonus Games with the purchase of an Xbox 360® Elite, now $299.
