4-Year-Old Banned From School Photo Because of Her Hairstyle [POLL]
The Cutie's Hairdresser Father Fashioned Her Long Hair Into a Bow, and School Officials Freaked
How adorbs is that photo, with four-year-old Marcella Marino's own hair fashioned into a Hello Kitty-ish bow on top of her head? And how clever is her hairdresser father in creating it? Sadly, the British cutie's school officials didn't agree, and refused to let her pose in the school's annual photo.

Marcella had asked her dad, who owns a hair salon in Kent, to make her look like a princess for her school photo.
But when she arrived with her cool 'do at her 210-student school, she was told the hairstyle was against school policy (what?!), which doesn't allow students to braid their hair (WHAT?!).
"I am so disappointed," Marcella's dad told the U.K. Daily Mail. "I could understand if Marcella arrived with her hair dyed or something, but this is an elegant look which I think the school should be proud of.
"It isn’t a hair braid, it is quite simply a knot in the shape of a bow, and I should know because I’m a hairdresser."

A spokesperson for the school told the Daily Mail that braids are not allowed, and that hair bands and ribbons can only be worn in dark colors like maroon, black and navy blue.
The school also rescheduled the class photo, but warned Marcella's dad that she can't wear the hair bow, for the photo or on any other school day.
"Marcella is so sad," he said. "She thought she looked like a princess, but now the school says it is not allowed."
